After literally years of planning, we were excited this week to finally get some of the new kit opened up and start making some new music in the library.
The testing process always includes our resident dance music specialist getting a quick track going...
Once we get all the kit in and tested we will be getting in touch with lots of local organisations who helped us when we were planning the project and start to set up sessions for young people to come down and have a go at creating their own music with the magic of digital music production software.
The Library@theLightbox is going to be genuinely 'alive with the sound of music' in a big way. And the best thing is that it will all be created by the fantastic young people of Barnsley. #ownit #imagineit #achieveit
